Sincere thanks to everyone who attended last year.

New last year we were pleased to present an evening of light musical entertainment with the Abbey Singers, a renowned harp and flute duo from Musicmakers and a Coloratura soprano, Sarah Gallop, with a delightful voice - and a very local connection! Also, new last year at the Festival, following his well received appearance at the St. George's weekend celebrations, Mark Mitchels presented a talk featuring “More characters of East Anglia”. Mark has a unique and inimitable style which always fully engages his audience so this was a great treat. There was a “feast” of book signings - David Foreman, known to many Saxmundham people as their trusted and likeable G.P. for so many years signed his book “Tuesday ‘n' Me” and showed a film about his round-the-world adventure and Guy de Moubray presened his new cookery book “Dinner for One”. The Hobbies Exhibition which was such a great success at the St. George's weekend also made its debut appearance at the Festival. We were pleased to be able to include the new Craft Fayre, now organised by KT Crafts, as part of last year's Festival. All the participants involved with these events are local people which helps to prove that we have a great wealth of talent in this part of the country which deserves to be encouraged and supported.

In a full programme lasting just over a week we welcome the return of the Literary Lunch with guest speakers and a 3-course lunch supplied by the Bell Hotel and an opportunity to purchase signed copies of new publications.   Further details will be available in due course.
