The
8th Saxmundham Arts Festival will be held on 22nd October to 31st
October 2010 and will include a wide range of events for the whole
family.

In
the Oxford English Dictionary, “the Arts” is the collective term
for the expression of creative skills in a visual form – painting,
music, writing and drama, to name just a few! Every year we aim
to provide a programme which has come from a wide range of sources
and we try to make the content of interest to as many of you as
possible covering a wide age range and a wide interest range. The
cost of events has to be within everyone's financial limits – yours
as well as ours: the Festival costs money to put on but we try hard
to make sure that the cost to you is within what your purse will
allow! Once again this year, most of the children's events are free
whilst the entry costs for the others have been kept to a realistic
minimum.
We
hope you will enjoy this year's programme - full details will be
delivered to you shortly and further copies will be available from
many outlets in the area. We look forward to seeing you at as many
events as possible – some are old favourites but others break new
ground. Let us know what you think – praise is always nice to receive
but constructive criticism is always useful.
