DESCRIPTION:Book your tickets for Art Station Film this Friday 28th June\, 7pm at Saxmundham Market Hall! \nAnother exciting instalment of films\, including work by artists Andrew Omoding\, Daisy Collingridge\, Samantha Moore\, Leigh Bowery\, Martin Creed and Steriogram. Curated by @emilyrichardsonfilms \nCheck out Andrew Omoding’s Birdman of Primrose Hill\, where Andrew beckons and performs with bird-like sculptures on top of Primrose Hill and at Camden Art Centre’s garden in London. Inspired by seeing Chucky Yi flying his parrots on Primrose Hill\, their fantastic colours and plumage\, resonated with Andrew\, informing his handmade costume\, sculptural birds and headdress which all feature in the film. \nThe film was commissioned by Camden Art Centre and shown as part of Andrew’s solo exhibition Animals to Remember Uganda at Camden Art Centre in 2024. \nAndrew Omoding is a Ugandan-British artist who lives and works in London. His masterful hybrid constructions sit between figuration and abstraction and often tell autobiographical stories of London or new surroundings. \nMore info on website! https://theartstation.uk
