Road Closure Notice for Saxmundham Christmas Fayre

Upcoming Road Closure for Saxmundham Christmas Fayre

With the Saxmundham Christmas Fayre fast approaching on Saturday 6th December, we are sharing important information for residents and businesses about the temporary road closures required to keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Market Place and the High Street will be closed to vehicles for the duration of the fayre preparations and activities. A signed diversion route will be in place, and parking bays in Market Place will need to remain clear during the closure period.

Those who normally park within the closure area, please be aware that vehicle access will not be possible during the event. If you need to use your car between 12:00 noon and 8:00pm on Saturday 6th December, you will need to park elsewhere temporarily. The Fromus Centre on Street Farm Road has kindly offered use of its car park for affected residents, and the East Suffolk Council car park in Market Place will also be free to use all day. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To ensure everyone has access to the full details, we’ve published the official letter sent to residents and business owners below. If you have any queries or concerns, please use the contact information provided in the letter.

Thank you for your support in helping us deliver a safe, festive, and fun community event!
