I became a Town Councillor because I wanted to give something back to a town which was so welcoming when I first visited it in 2000, eventually moving here with my husband in 2015, residing on Mayflower Green. I was appointed Chair to the Council in 2022. For many years, I was involved with the IP17 Good Neighbour Scheme, which I thoroughly enjoyed and it proved to me what a thriving community spirit Saxmundham has.
