The Saxons 5 Mile Race (Race licence 29696) is held at Saxmundham Running & Fitness, Carlton Park, Saxmundham, IP17 1AT.

The main race starts at 11 am and is open to all runners aged 15 and over.

Taking place on Sunday 5th October 2025, the Saxons 5 Mile Race is a chip timed, multi terrain run on playing field, footpaths and off road that is fully marshalled and sign posted. There will be winner’s prizes and a race memento for every finisher!

The route takes runners from the sports field at Carlton Park Sports Ground towards Brook Farm Road and Kelsale, where it then loops round and finishes back at the sports field.
